The Jets
The Jets were a Tongan American family music group from Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Formed in 1977, they consisted of eight of the eldest children (originally called Quasar) from the Wolfgramm family, with parents Maikeli “Mike” and Vaké Wolfgramm. Their big break came in the late 1980s with a catchy blend of pop, R&B, and dance music. Hits like “Crush on You,” “You Got It All,” and “Make It Real” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, propelling them to international fame. They enjoyed three world tours and even performed at prestigious events like the 1987 World Series and the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.
