The Fray
The Fray is a pop-rock band formed in Denver, Colorado in 2002. The band’s core members, Isaac Slade and Joe King, met as schoolmates and bonded over their musical interests. With a sound heavily influenced by piano and featuring Slade’s distinctive vocals, The Fray found success with their melancholic storytelling and relatable themes. Their debut album, “How to Save a Life”, achieved massive commercial success, reaching quadruple platinum status in the US. Though their lyrics often touch on heartbreak and loss, The Fray’s music also carries messages of hope.
