Sum 41
Sum 41 is a Canadian rock band formed in 1996, renowned for their dynamic blend of punk rock, pop punk, and alternative rock. Originally consisting of Deryck Whibley (vocals/guitar), Dave Baksh (guitar), Jason “Cone” “Watt” (bass), and Steve Jocz (drums), the band gained widespread recognition with their 2001 debut album, All Killer No Filler, which featured hit singles like “Fat Lip” and “In Too Deep.” Their energetic sound and irreverent lyrics resonated with a broad audience, propelling them to international fame. Over the years, Sum 41 has continued to evolve musically, incorporating elements of metal and hard rock into their repertoire, as heard in albums like Underclass Hero (2007) and 13 Voices (2016). Known for their high-octane performances and catchy anthems, Sum 41 remains a significant influence in the punk and alternative rock scenes.
