Roxette

Swedish pop duo Roxette, formed by Per Gessle (vocals, guitar) and Marie Fredriksson (vocals, piano), rose to international fame in the late 80s and early 90s. After success in Sweden with their debut single “Neverending Love,” their 1989 breakthrough hit “The Look” propelled them to superstardom. Their signature sound blended catchy pop melodies with powerful vocals, often tackling themes of love, relationships, and hope. A string of hits followed, including ballads like “Listen to Your Heart” and “It Must Have Been Love” (featured on the “Pretty Woman” soundtrack), solidifying their place as pop icons.
