Outkast, the legendary hip-hop duo formed by AndrĂ© 3000 (AndrĂ© Benjamin) and Big Boi (Antwan Patton) in Atlanta, Georgia, rose to prominence in the 1990s. They are widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential hip-hop acts of all time. Pioneering Southern hip-hop, Outkast experimented with a blend of styles including funk, psychedelia, jazz, and techno, all delivered with intricate lyricism and catchy melodies.
