Outkast, the legendary hip-hop duo formed by André 3000 (André Benjamin) and Big Boi (Antwan Patton) in Atlanta, Georgia, rose to prominence in the 1990s. They are widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential hip-hop acts of all time. Pioneering Southern hip-hop, Outkast experimented with a blend of styles including funk, psychedelia, jazz, and techno, all delivered with intricate lyricism and catchy melodies.
