Michael Learns To Rock

Michael Learns to Rock, often abbreviated as MLTR, is a Danish pop rock band formed in Aarhus, Denmark in 1988. The band currently consists of Jascha Richter (bass), Mikkel Lentz (drums), and Kåre Wanscher (keyboards). Originally a four-piece band, Søren Madsen (guitar) left the group in 2000. Despite being Danish, the band sings in English and has achieved significant success throughout Asia and Scandinavia. Their music is known for its soft rock and pop rock sound, often featuring catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics about love and relationships, and Jascha Richter’s distinctive vocals. The band rose to international fame in the early 1990s with hits like “The Actor,” “Sleeping Child,” and “Out of the Blue.”
