Destiny’s Child

Destiny’s Child, one of the best-selling girl groups ever, rose to fame in the late 1990s. Originally starting as a larger group called Girl’s Tyme in the early 90s, the trio we know best – Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams – solidified their lineup in 1997. With strong vocals, empowering lyrics, and captivating performances, Destiny’s Child became known for their R&B and pop hits like “Say My Name,” “Independent Women,” and “Survivor.” They released multiple platinum-selling albums and won several Grammy Awards. Though they disbanded in the mid-2000s to pursue solo careers, Destiny’s Child left a lasting mark on music, inspiring countless artists and becoming a symbol of female empowerment.
